6 months ago, the Fixie Factory shop proposed us to test a new tire, the continental contact 2.

I decided to try it, Clem Shovel too, and the time is gone for sharing our feeling on it.

First, this tire is only for 700C riders, I don’t think any good 26′ size exist. (only a 26 x1.75, and that can be too small for main of 26′ FGFS ).

With its sizes (42×700 or 47×700), the “contact 2″ is a good challenger in 700-freestyle-tire-family:

-the relief is great, with streaked sidewalls

-Good weight (670g)

-really more resistant than a resist tire to skid, slide, grinds and punctures.

I love it! Definetely need to try the extralight version the brand mades too ( 500g! STOCKED!)
